Nakashima Mika follows up last year’s Oricon #6 hit Orion with her 28th single. Reminiscent of her 2007 hit Life, Over Load is an uptempo tune personally penned by Mika. Arranged by Okawa Kazuto, Over Load merges electronic and string instrumental sounds with Mika’s unique vocals. As for the side track No Answer, it is also penned by Mika and arranged by producer/guitarist Tanaka Yoshito.

本作は、中島美嘉自身のリリックによる「LIFE」を想起させるアップチューン! トラックメイキングには日本の音楽業界を牽引するアゲハスプリングスワークス (YUKI、元気ロケッツ、flumpool等)の新進気鋭のクリエイター、大川カズトを起用! 力強いキックと空間を彩るエレクトロなサウンドとストリングスが中島美嘉の凛と響く声と響きあい、一筋の光を導き出している。カップリングには日本のメジャーシーンで活躍するギタリスト・プロデューサー田中義人アレンジによる「ANSWER (仮)」を収録。新ジャンルの提案ともゆうべきエレクトロJポップを堪能できる秀逸な楽曲に仕上がっている。
