Nicholas Teo will be releasing a new album soon. This round, he will be presently a manlier and mature side of him, even growing a beard to go with it. His father’s illness has also become a turning point in his life. On the day of the cover shoot, the director requested to capture photos of Nicholas Teo crying. Tears dropped from him as he thought about his father being ill.

Nicholas Teo has experienced the pain of almost losing his father. His life has changed because of this, which he now realizes that he carries big responsibilities as being the only son in the family. He has matured a lot from the past. To compliment this change, his record company requested him to grow a beard to show off his manliness. Nicholas Teo has even gone to perm his hair, and said, “This is my first time getting my hair permed. I’ve never done it before. I’m still not very used to it, and I don’t really know how to take care of it!”

On the day of the album cover shoot, the photographer and project manager discussed together in hope to help Nicholas Teo fall into the mood for every photo. On the last photo, they hoped that sorrowful tears could flow from his eyes. The photographer offered him some eye-drops, but Nicholas Teo replied very manly, “No need! Just give me three minutes and I’ll be able to do it. Moreover, I’ve filmed two idol dramas. I’ve had practices, so I can definitely cry naturally!” No doubt, tears really did flow from Nicholas Teo’s eyes after three minutes. When his manager asked what he was thinking of when he cried, he answered, “I thought about the moment my father fainted from illness. It was truly very scary.”

After being in showbiz for so long, the public is very interested in Nicholas Teo’s love life. He couldn’t help but make fun of himself, “I’ve always asked myself, ‘are you lonely?’ Sometimes, I also want to have someone accompanying me like other people, and live a simple life. But after I think more about it, I’ll just forget it. I’m still young, so there’s no need to rush. I’ll just go with the flow.” However, he admits that because of the shock he felt when his father fell sick, he has given more thought to marriage and career. Nicholas Teo smiles, “I will do more social networking. I hope my friends can help me arrange more dates!” His new album <The Moment of Silence> will be available for pre-order starting May 19th, and it will be officially released on June 5th.
