Bae Seul Gi’s career has seemed to fade throughout the years. Not much news about her since the much publicized / trashy rumors of her dating DBSK’s U-Know Yunho and Super Junior’s Siwon.

Her fans however, are still photoshopping her face next to Yunho’s and Siwon’s on wedding photos. They’re also putting together slideshows entitled Yungi (Yunho + Seul Gi) or Sigi (Siwon + Seul Gi) onto youtube.

Bae Seul Gi like Beyonce says on the DirecTV commercial seemed to have upgraded a little when she teamed up with the cosmetics brand ELLITA recently. ELLITA came up with a new line of products named after her, and her role reportedly was crucial in the making of the line, which is “infused with Seulgi’s own makeup expertise.” The line is also supposed to have colors that emphasize personality.

In the annual golf banquet this year, reporter was lucky enough to have met up with Michelle Ye. Michelle who is active in TV, movies as well as several popular shows has won recognition of audience through her solid performance in acting. Michelle appeared exceptionally lively since she brought golf into her life.

Michelle Ye began playing golf three years ago. Although she live just next to the City Golf, the most she plays golf with friends is about two or three times a year. She frankly admitted that she does not really know how to play golf, she instead loved mountain hiking. Unfortunately for her most of her friends do not favor mountain hiking and thus she could only resolved to hiking when playing golf or when she has jobs in the countryside. Michelle’s golf attire was sponsored; she also thinks the design of golf attire is very nice. As the number of times she plays golf a year is very limited, she does not worry about getting too much sun. Michelle’s favorite golf course is Kau Sai Chau, The Jockey Club Public Golf Course, where the environment is well landscaped and further enhanced by the sea of blue skies, which was the main reason she fell in love with golf.

Michelle who is passionate about hiking would always love to spend her leisure time hiking around with a backpack. She has long ago conquered several local hiking attractions such as Huangshan, Taishan, etc. Besides that, she also goes dancing to stretch out her limbs twice a week, be it a split or a swim, to maintain her healthy figure.

Golden Horse award renowned director, Herman Chiu’s recent production ‘1st 7 Days’ which stars Michelle Ye will be hitting the screens in November. Michelle will be involved in some promotion events, interviews with TV stations and magazines as well as the premier are all scheduled tightly, and we hereby wish the movie a hit as well as Michelle Ye a success in the entertainment industry.

A fashion pictorial for the magazine, Marie Claire featuring Hwang Bo & Marco from ‘We Got Married’ featuring the brand EXR’s winter sports concept was recently revealed to the public.

The two are currently on MBC’s ‘Sunday Sunday Night, Popular Corner: We Got Married’ where perform with different partners.

This fashion pictorial pulls away the veil of a scandal and displays their friendship.

The pictorial will be featured in the December edition of Marie Claire.

The Dashanzi Art District in Beijing became a mecca for star-chasers on Saturday, when a dozen or more domestic and international celebrities attended the opening of an art exhibition.

“Christian Dior & Chinese Artists,” an exhibition by the French fashion house Dior, attracted international film icons, including Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, French actress Marion Cotillard and Chinese celebrities Maggie Cheung, Lin Chi-Ling and Li Bingbing.

On display are Dior’s designs, including works by Christian Dior himself and the label’s current chief designer John Galliano, as well as works of 22 Chinese contemporary artists that were inspired by Dior’s designs.

The exhibition at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in the Dashanzi Art District runs until January 15.

Ueno Juri (22) is the image-character for Honda’s new car series, “Life”. The official press conference was held yesterday, 6th November 2008 in Tokyo.

Ueno, who has been driving for 3 years, says that the car comes equipped with a “pack monitor” which makes it easy to park. She also thinks that it is a very nice car, especially when she enters and gets out of it. She has no problems doing parallel parking and would love to take her friends and elder sister out for a drive!

She also revealed that she was thinking of doing a 5-day road trip from Gifu to Kinki, and reporters immediately asked if she would be doing so with a boyfriend, to which Ueno replied, “…”. The CM for Honda’s Life goes on air today, 7th November 2008.

Marketing photos for Peripera Wonder Line makeup line were released online today. It showcased the individual WonderGirls members applying the makeup products personally.

And the HQ photos looked totally delightful.

The whole product line looked really sweet and tasty (alright not literally), but definitely very teenager-ish. Plus the girls looked great in the photos.

I personally thought Ye Eun, Sun Ye and SunMi looked really really fabulous.

It is going to be a great hit.

Famous movie star Da S came to Shenyang yesterday for Tissot promo. This is her second time in Shenyang, but Da S said “the feeling is different. its too cold!, I could wear short sleeves in Hong Kong!”. But Da S fans in Shenyang are still very warm. It was Monday, but numerous fans came to see her. Da S is single and not looking for love, “Singlehood is very nice, I can go anywhere, and can also be with my family!”

Da S came on time, wearing a red dress. Her smile had always been so bright, “Did not expect it to be so cold here, but the sun is warm, and looking at so many people here, they are all smiling with me, I feel very warm!. Everytime I come to Shenyang, everyone gives me a pleasant surprise!”

Da S obviously gained weight, showing a “double chin”. When a reporter asked if its because she recently went on a break, Da S smiled, “I gained weight? I dont think so!”

Da S talks about her next project

On her next big project, “I’m currently hosting a program in Taiwan, and I will begin filming for my next project next month”, When asked who will be her leading man, Da S mysteriously said: “You guess, it’s certainly whom everyone anticipates!”

Wherever the “Beauty Queen” goes, she speaks about “Beauty”. Da S has truly maintained her good skin. She’s always been generous in giving beauty advices, “Woman must pay attention to herself”. At home, I watch what i eat. Keeping healthy is very important, I like drinking fruit and vegetable juices, healthy nutrition also helps to lose weight!”

Cosmetic brands are a dime a dozen in Korea.  There’s Faceshop, Innisfree, Missha, Etude, Banila and countless others that I have forgotten. And so, “Peripera” is something I have never heard of – although the line was created way back when in 2005.

So with the Wondergirls collaborating with fellow domestic brand, Clio (parent company of Peripera) to create a new line of makeup, “Peripera Wonder Line,” we are not sure what to expect since the market is already filled with great beauty products.

The girls had a hand in designing the packaging and product type, but does this mean that their products are going to be better?

Nope. We’ll have to see. Would you buy makeup with a Wondergirls stamp of approval?

The Wonderfied 6 product line will be available on online shopping sites in November.

The makeup line will be called Peripera Wonder Line. PeriPera has been gaining lots of popularity online since Clio launched the sister line in 2005.

A Clio representative said, “The collaboration between the Wonder Girls, who creates a craze every time they come out they always come out with a surprising new style, plus PeriPera, a makeup brand line that speaks to the women’s heart, is the best news that a woman could possibly have.”

“Not only are all the Wonder Girls’ members interested in makeup, they know how to use makeup to their advantage and know a lot of makeup tips. Their unique ideas helped us a lot”, added the representative from Clio.

Like the Wonder Girls, the PeriPera Wonder Line has 6 different makeup products that will make the user feel like they are in the spotlight. The girls will model this new line and they also helped with the package designing.

PeriPera Wonder Line will be first made available early November through the PeriPera site (www.peripera.com) and it will be distributed to online retailers like Gmarket, Auction, and to cosmetic stores and drug store later on.
