Exposure of the underground relationship with married woman Annie Yi cost Victor Huang a great deal. To recover his reputation, Huang chose to leave Yi despite still being in love with her, and has also moved away from the district where she is staying.

Huang’s manager told reporters that though the company has rented an apartment for him in Beijing, he seldom returns there. The place where Huang and Yi were first seen holding hands was the management’s office and recording studio.

Yi is currently in Taiwan to sign the divorce agreement. On contrary to Huang who has been receiving event invites after the affair exposure, Yi’s image is totally tarnished and also lost her family. Harlem Yu, Yi’s husband, gained custodian rights of their only son, Harry Yu.

Huang, who made his mark in Taiwan drama serial “Fei Long Zai Tian”, has always been open about his girlfriend whom he has dated since university. They have been together for 18 years but do not have plans for marriage. According to reports, they are still seeing each other after his affair with Yi was exposed and Huang also said they are satisfied with their current status.
