 Lay – この愛であるように
それまでライヴハウスを中心に活動を行なってきたLayは、2009年4月、『西寺実 Presents HARDなYAON 2009』(日比谷野外大音楽堂)にオープニング・アクトとして出演。 その後、彼女自身が作詞を手掛けた楽曲「LOVE U」が株式会社TOKAI『TOKAIネットワーククラブ』のCMソングに抜擢され、静岡地区を中心に、 TV・ラジオにてオンエア中。同年9月には、東京ビッグサイトで行なわれた「原宿スタイルコレクション」にBENI、YU-A等とともにシンガーとしてゲスト出演を果たし、数千人の観客を前に「LOVE U」を披露した。
M-1「この愛であるように」は6月公開の日韓合作映画『チョルラの詩』(主演:キム・ミンジュン、ソ・ドヨン)の主題歌に決定。疲れた大人達への“癒しソング”としても味わい深さを感じさせる。
M-2「LOVE U」は、 “TOKAIネットワーククラブ”のCMソングとして静岡県一円にてO.A.中。
M-3「RED」は、6月公開の映画『ムラサキカガミ』主題歌。

 Honey L Days – 伝えたいことがあるから
4枚目となるニュー・シングル「まなざし」がTBS系ドラマ『タンブリング』の主題歌としてオンエアされ、初のスマッシュ・ヒットとなっているHoney L Days。今アルバムはデビューから4枚全てのシングル(それぞれタイアップつき)に加え、新曲5曲、全13曲で構成された文字通り初のアルバムだ。ほぼ作詞作曲はメンバー達のもの。作品は、音楽活動に限らず、俳優、音楽監督等、彼らの培ってきた経験が作品に溢れ、曲調もバラエティに富んでおり、彼らの幅広い音楽性の幅が垣間見える。ただどの曲にも共通するのは、ツインボーカルから繰り出される彼らのハーモニーのカッコ良さで、時に繊細に、時に豪快に、歴代男性ロック・デュオにはない新たなインパクトを刻むスタイルを予感させる。
